1. AFFIRMATIONS:

  • Write them down to practice them.

  • Take a moment to decide their meaning for you.

  • You can even use them as journal prompts.

This week, I am practicing SELF-ACCEPTANCE.

MONDAY:

Just for today, I am deciding to give myself a break.

TUESDAY:

Just for today, I am deciding to stop re-visiting my past.

WEDNESDAY:

Just for today, I am deciding to appreciate the abundance I have.

THURSDAY:

Just for today, I am deciding to be content where I am.

FRIDAY:

Just for today, I am deciding to remind myself of who I really am.

2. WEEKEND BABY STEPS:

  • Maintain consistent routines to form new habits.

  • Keep track of your progress.

  • Celebrate how far you've come - do this each week...don't wait until the end!

SATURDAY:

Review & Reflect...

  • What did I do very well this week? What made me feel most proud of myself?

  • Am I still moving toward my 60-day goal? If not, what can I do to get back on track?

  • Baby Step:

Just for today, CLEAR OUT ONE PILE OF CLUTTER (purge stagnant, stuck energy)

SUNDAY:

Plan & Prep...

  • What's ONE thing I can plan to do to make next week successful?

  • What's ONE thing I can do to prepare ahead so I don't feel rushed?

  • Baby Step:

Just for today, START YOUR SPRING CLEANING (add color and give new life with a plant or flowers-pick your own)

3. TOOLS:

  • Use these additional tools to keep you motivated.

  • Keep a list of what inspires you: fave music, affirmations, success stories, quotes.

  • Begin each day anew without dragging the past into it or forcing the future onto it :)

4. SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT:

Since we’ve been discussing self-acceptance this week as part of our Sixty Ways in 60 Days series challenge, I thought an instructional video would be beneficial in case you missed Qigong class on 2-19-2024 when this week’s assignment was discussed.

Remember, all of these tips, tools and techniques are meant to assist you, not frustrate you.

Take it slow and do only what resonates with you.

I call this technique Relationship Rx.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose ONE of the areas listed below.

  2. Write down that affirmation so you can practice it daily

  3. Repeat the affirmation a minimum of every evening right before bed and every morning as soon as you wake up (leaving a copy near your bed will help you remember).

  4. Practice repeating it throughout the day so it becomes a habit, which will then help you respond in a more loving, compassionate and accepting way.

  5. Keep it handy for those inevitable times of relationship conflict…repeat the affirmation after the incident, along with deep breaths to calm your thoughts and emotions. This, too, will become a habit.

With enough practice (along with your sincere desire to repair your relationships), you will soon realize the little annoyances of life don’t bother you anymore. They’ll become trivial inconveniences instead of all-consuming drama that wrecks your day, your week, your life.

PLEASE remember: This is a practice. It takes time. This is NOT the only area you’ll work on for the rest of your life. You can choose another area to focus upon once you feel more confident about this one. Okay? So, let’s begin…

Pick ONE and go ALL IN.

Here are your choices:

Repair your relationship to Mother Nature:

I have decided to re-kindle my relationship with Mother Nature. I gracefully move with her cycles and I effortlessly absorb her pure, positive energy.

Repair your relationship to Others:

I am choosing to live in harmony with all others. I lovingly accept them as they are and where they are.

Repair your relationship to your Environment:

A beautiful environment creates a beautiful day. I surround myself with beauty and all the things that make my inner light radiate joy.

Repair your relationship to your Current Circumstances:

I accept where I am because I know I’m being led to someplace even better. I remain patient, optimistic and open to delightful new opportunities.

Repair your relationship to Yourself:

I know who I am. I am love. I am light. My Soul guides me every day in every way. I am overflowing with gratitude, love and a tremendous sense of fulfillment.
