There’s always been rivalry in the marketplace, but these days we’re not only vying for attention with other humans, the news and social media, we’ve also got AI (artificial intelligence) to contend with. It makes you want to give up and reminisce about the “good old days.” But I won’t let you. Why?

Because the old days weren’t always good.

Because we have amazing technology at our fingertips that we can use to make the world an even better place.

Because we’re NOT the temperamental old peeps we used to complain about having to visit since they told the same tales about “back when I was young” to anyone who would listen.

So what’s a mere mortal to do? Learn about the secret to stress-free success in today’s Baby Step.

BABY STEP

I will teach you ONE WORD which will transform your ability to succeed in any area of your life. PLUS I will show you a technique I created to alleviate 99.99999% of stress as well. Sound good?

That word is EXCELLENCE.

I know. I know. Most people hear the word excellence and they think of high achievers: gold medal Olympians, Nobel prize winners, pioneers in commerce, Bill & Ted’s timeless advice.

But stay with me, don’t shy away from this powerhouse. The reason I chose excellence is because it’s achievable. And, unlike the tension caused by the never-ending pursuit of perfection, excellence eliminates stress by giving you a calm, simple goal.

Excellence is knowing you’ve done everything in your power to do your best in this moment. Because, like our moods and the phases of the moon, levels of excellence are always changing. Your degree of excellence on days you feel motivated may be off the charts. Whereas on days you struggle to get out of bed that degree of excellence may involve getting upright and encouraging yourself to get on with the day. But, that’s okay.

Excellence is still achievement and we’re all about small wins and baby steps…remember?

Now, for my technique

Repeat this each morning upon waking, each evening before bed and right before you begin any task:

I don’t need to be first.

I don’t need to be best.

I just need to strive for excellence today.

And you will. Do you know how I know?

Striving for excellence sets you up for success.

You’re already intending to do your very best. You’re already invoking the powers of the Universe to show up and give you that extra bit of power you need to succeed. And, guess what kind of results you’re more likely to get (even if they’re delayed)?

EXCELLENT!
