Life Lesson courtesy of The Super Flu:
There’s an old saying (#Nana wisdom) that goes:
You don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone.
My question, then, is why wait until it’s too late? There’s a simple solution instead. And it comes from one of the greatest guys I know. Find it in today’s Baby Step.

LESSON
When you or a loved one becomes ill (#Super Flu level), your priorities change quickly. Suddenly, you realize all the petty worries and concerns and annoyances and endless parade of items on your to-do list don’t feel quite so urgent anymore.
Instead, you hone in on what matters most…
Loving your peeps
Loving your life
Loving yourself
And doing so unconditionally in this moment. Because, let’s face it, we’re not guaranteed the next moment. So why wait to do something later (#later never comes) when you can do a little something right now?
Because no matter how small and insignificant the act may be to you, it could mean the world to the other person.
You could throw in a load of laundry for them.
You could bring them a treat.
You could sit with them and visit.
You could call and check in.
You could cheer them up with a funny meme.
You could send prayers and blessings.
You could let them know you are thinking of them and that they matter to you.
So don’t delay and don’t hesitate, and, to get you started, take a little advice from the Master of Harmony in today’s Baby Step.
BABY STEP
I could think of no better Baby Step than the one I wrote about a while back, featuring the simple wisdom of my super-patient, super-dedicated Dad. Read about it HERE.
Live life this way and I promise you will feel so much better…and they will, too.
PS Happy b-day, G-Pa. We love you and appreciate all you do :)
FEEL BETTER
PS If you, too, are sniffling and hacking the day away, perhaps this will help...
