Nobody likes a know-it-all. Do you know why?

Because there's no such thing.

Even some of the most brilliant minds in history knew this:

Maybe back in the day before books or TV or the internet existed (#The Dark Ages), someone had insider knowledge and was seen as the guru of their day. Maybe the town crier had an advantage in receiving the news before everyone else. Maybe the philosophers were just making it up as they went but their charming personalities and stylish robes mesmerized everyone into listening to them. I don’t know. But I do know this…

Nothing is new.

It’s all been said and done and said and done and said and done again. Each time, though, someone presents the same old concept in a new and relevant way. They present it a little differently to reach a specific audience or to make a specific point.

I believe everything we need to know is all the same. Why?

Because it all comes from the same place – our Soul.

Our Inner Light is always guiding us back to the true source of who and what we are…PURE LOVE. So, essentially, whatever we hear or see or learn or experience comes from a space of love. Some people muck it up along the way, but most of us succeed in getting the same, timeless message across.

Let’s see how we can put our own unique spin on that message in today’s Baby Step.

BABY STEP

I used to keep magazines I intended to read “someday.” That is until my dear Bill matter-of-factly reminded me that once the article has been printed, it’s already old news. So, waiting to read it makes the content even more outdated (#light bulb moment).

The same theory applies to us with stuff we wish to learn, to do, to create, to make, to give, to communicate, to share. We wait and wait and let the creativity and passion in that moment pass. We believe we’re not ready or that we need more information, more resources, more validation, more reviews from random people we don’t know. Worst of all, we believe we need more of something we don’t have…time.

The need to know it all is causing us to miss out.

So, here’s the truth of the day:

We CAN’T know it all. (Read more about that in yesterday's post HERE)

Facts are always changing. Updated information is always becoming available. The way we receive data is always evolving. Heck, WE are always evolving.

Since we can’t – and shouldn’t – halt progress, let’s stop stressing about the need to know and instead, focus on today’s Baby Step:

The need to TRUST.

• Trust the Universe to deliver an even better outcome.

• Trust other peeps to offer love, caring, kindness, compassion and connection.

• Trust yourself to find the best resources, tools and information to get the job done in the most delightful way.

• Trust yourself to discover what’s best for you.

• Trust yourself to know this above all else…YOU are worth the effort.

And when you trust yourself, you are extending love to yourself which will then reverberate throughout the Universe and extend love to everyone, everywhere.

So, every time you think you need to know more and more and more, remind yourself of today’s DDD message:

I can’t know it all, but I can most definitely know that love is always the answer.

And, what could be better than knowing that?
