If there is one thing that has remained true - not just during Mercury Retrograde, but throughout my life - it’s this:

Mindfulness Matters

Let’s see just how much by using our Third Eye Chakra along with today’s Baby Step.

THE CHAKRA

When we explore the THIRD EYE Chakra, we find many hidden treasures (#Indy). Some of them we didn’t even know we had.

Or, more likely, we didn’t know how to use them to our advantage.

Like…

  • Access to our memories – We can use these snippets from the past to lift us up as we transform, rather than drag us down so we remain stuck.

  • Decision-making skills – We can integrate the power of our intellect with the power of intuition to select from the best possible options.

  • Ease of use – We can opt to view everything in our lives with a sense of ease and redirect all that “It’s hard” energy into momentum instead.

In fact, we can start the powerful process today with a very simple Baby Step.

BABY STEP

To test my theory that mindfulness matters, I am suggesting this straightforward Baby Step experiment.

It’s a method I like to call re-thinking and re-feeling.

Phase 1

Think back to a time your emotions recently expressed themselves this way:

  • Cranky

  • Annoyed

  • Under the weather

  • Frustrated

Now recall what you were thinking/believing/experiencing/mentally processing at that time and ask this:

Was I at my best when I felt that way?

Phase 2

Think back to a time your emotions recently expressed themselves this way:

  • Happy

  • Content

  • Over the moon

  • Cozy

Now recall what you were thinking/believing/experiencing/mentally processing at that time and ask this:

Was I at my best when I felt that way?

Phase 3

Now compare both of your responses. Take into consideration both the emotions and the thoughts then ask this:

During which mental mindset did I feel best?

I bet I can guess the answer. Now, ponder this…

What awesomeness will be available to me if I intentionally choose to be more mindful of my thoughts (re-thinking) and more aware of how I feel (re-feeling)? Hmmm.

CHAKRA CLEARING

I CLEAR MY THIRD EYE CHAKRA – at the level of my MIND – in order to become more and more mindful about my thoughts, my emotions, my habits and my beliefs so my life improves exponentially! And so it is :)
