Baby Step 26 to Fall into Better Habits

Thus far, the most amazing things have happened to me because I’ve done this one thing.

I changed my mind. More accurately, I changed my mindset.

For example, when my first niece was born, I spent lots of time and lots of money commuting back and forth between New York and Florida to visit her. Just before my second niece was due to arrive, I’d already changed my mind. I was so determined, that one night hubby arrived home from work to find half of our home already packed. Once I’d decided to move closer to the girls, nothing could have stopped me. Thankfully, he decided to join me (#no choice).

Mindset matters. In fact, it is one of the most important factors that influence your outcome.

Desperation produces way different results than determination.

I don’t know about you, but attempting to make a positive difference in your life while in the throes of despair is not exactly conducive to success. Your vibe attracts your results. What kind of vibes are you putting out?

Desperation = Low vibes = Limited thinking

· your outcome is influenced by your outdated beliefs

· you are focusing outside yourself

· your decisions are driven by others/society

Determination = High vibes = Unlimited potential

· your outcome is determined by your Divine beliefs

· you are focusing within

· your decisions are governed by your Soul

So, how does one change one’s mind as easily as I imply? I’m glad you asked. In fact, it’s today’s Baby Step.

Push your RESET BUTTON.

It works for your phone and your computer so why wouldn’t it work for your most valuable piece of equipment…your brain? Like all electronics, your brain sometimes needs a reboot to upgrade and to refresh the system.

Where do you find this reset button? It’s in the middle of your forehead where your Third Eye Chakra dwells. Simply tap the spot and say out loud, “RESET!”

That’s it? That’s it. This simple procedure seems to bring your mind back online and into the present moment. At the same time, you’re issuing a command and your brain responds to that.
