Because life can sometimes get us a little down, a little crazy and a little cranky. So we all need a pick-me-up from time to time.

Sometimes, a sweet treat will help. Speaking of which…check out my daughter’s delectable baked goods and support her as she embarks on her entrepreneurial adventure HERE.

Add to that a sweet disposition and watch your life get even better! We all have an innate sweetness within. Yes, all of us. It’s just that some hide it way better than others.

How do I know this? You see, we all have a choice to make in every moment. We can choose to react to a person or a situation or our current circumstances with bitterness (anger, frustration, impatience, jealousy). OR, we can choose to respond with sweetness (love, kindness, compassion, understanding, cheerfulness).

Either way, you’ll get your point across, but wouldn’t it be better to do so in the most delightful way instead? Besides, being sweet is good for you! Your heart will be happy. Your brain will be calm. Your body will be relaxed. Your life will be free because you didn’t say or do something you’ll later regret. Your Soul will be proud of you.

Your outcome may not change, but your attitude toward it will.

You’ll be GLAD you tapped into your own “sweet spot” with today’s Baby Step.

BABY STEP

Following my recipe for happiness only requires 4 things. And continually using these powerful elements will allow you to sweeten your life. Which then will help you feel GLAD more frequently instead of mad or sad or bad or any other deflating emotion that rhymes with it.

Let’s mix up these simple ingredients for a recipe that can’t be beat, unless of course, it’s my daughter’s delightful treats…check them out HERE (#shameless promotion).

Today’s Baby Step is sure to help you feel G-L-A-D more and more often:

G – express Gratitude each day for what you have, for what you’ve accomplished, for what’s on its way

L – radiate Love without condition, without expectation, without limits

A – show Appreciation for all you’ve been given by the Universe and by others.

D – feel Delighted about the little things in life because your life is made up of a billion of them:

  • delight in taking time to admire the flowers, the trees, the beauty of Nature

  • delight in taking opportunities to improve your current circumstances with Baby Steps

  • delight in taking deep breaths of fresh air

  • delight in taking a moment to connect with someone in a meaningful way

  • delight in taking every chance you get to smile

  • taking life less seriously (#less stress) and deciding to just be GLAD
