Do this before it’s too late!

You know the drill…charge your phone every night before bed and, in the morning, you’ll have a device that’s fully charged and ready to go.

BUT, if you forget to do that a couple nights in a row, guess what? The phone will be drained and it won’t work. In fact, it won’t even turn on at all.

So, don’t wait until the phone is depleted to charge it. Likewise, don’t wait until you’re depleted to recharge yourself!

Find out fun ways you can recharge in today’s Baby Step. I’ve given you more than a dozen ideas, so keep a copy of the list and you can use it throughout the year.

BABY STEP

If we can be diligent about recharging our phone every day then we can certainly be waaaaaay more diligent about recharging ourselves every day.

Today’s Baby Step offers lots of FUN ways to do that throughout the year:

  • Immerse yourself in color…use an adult coloring book or, be like me, and go straight for the OG preschool version (#Crayola for life).

  • Dabble in painting…on a canvas or on the wall, just like we do in Qigong!

  • Spend some time in Nature…go for a walk, a hike or dust off your bike.

  • Try your hand at writing…start a journal, a blog or begin the great American novel (#Pulitzer awaits).

  • Soak in a bath…even if you’re a diehard shower person, a warm bath immerses you in the water element (we’ll be enjoying a series about that later next year) and often offers you solutions and direction.

  • Break out the camera…take Nature photos and share them online or record yourself to become a YouTube star. Speaking of which, SUBSCRIBE to my channel HERE.

  • Move your bod…head to the gym or take a trek around Mother Earth.

  • Plan a vacation…you don’t have to be a world traveler, you can map out a visit to a new park.

  • Experiment…try out a new food or opt for tea instead of your morning coffee.

  • Sample…take a free class (#Qigong) so you can try it before your buy it.

  • Exercise your brain…get into activities and puzzles to keep your brain active.

  • Brighten your home…add some plants, buy yourself flowers once a month or light a candle. Wait until you see my meditation candles!

  • Visit your local library…check out a genre you’ve never read before or flip through some magazines for inspiration.

  • Learn something new…find a topic that interests you or one that makes your life better.

  • Practice a new technique…discover a new way of solving old problems (#Toolbox Tuesday).

  • Prep a project…make a vision board or collect photos for a scrapbook.

  • Meditate more…make 2024 the year you decide to recharge your mind every day (you’ll thank me later).

Before we head into yet another New Year, I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this very special community I’ve been building since 2013. I appreciate the love and participation and support I’ve been given throughout the years.
