There’s something you’ve got to know about yourself. You won’t want to hear it, but it must be said.

Your BRAIN is a bully.

It’s true! I’ll show you.

Read on to check out the Baby Step below for some anti-bullying advice with a little help from a rabbit we all know.

BABY STEP

Remember the Energizer Bunny? That’s me. The problem with that (trust me, there is waaaay more than just one) is the constant going and doing.

You see, to achieve peace of MIND, there has to be some downtime to accomplish that.

And even though it appears that all this continuous motion is leading to productivity, it’s just an illusion. It’s actually covering up the fact that you can’t sit still long enough to quiet that big ol’ bully inside your skull. In fact, I built my YouTube channel around this very concept.

The brain is a beautiful piece of machinery. But it has a bit of a superiority complex.

It’s because the brain’s #1 job is to keep you safe. And attempting to do something out of the ordinary sends distress signals to your noggin. Then your brain shuts that sh*t down ASAP.

Allow me to elaborate with this common scenario…

You're enjoying a great day. In fact, you’re just about to manifest something amazing when your brain “casually” reminds you of a memory long-since buried. Your heart picks up the signal and suddenly you feel sad. Your brain then piles on more and more similar experiences and keeps talking smack about you. Now you can’t concentrate, let alone do something new (#no manifesting for you). Bully brain then leads you right back to that endless cycle of going and doing yet never getting anywhere.

Unfortunately, constant activity can never lead to peace. In fact, it only makes matters worse.

So, what’s an overworked bunny to do? Check out this Baby Step to hop into a better mindset and a more peaceful life by getting our inner bully on board.

First, recognize that this will continue to happen unless you make a consistent effort to adjust your mindset.

Second, carve out a few minutes each day dedicated to quiet time. Start with 30 seconds and set a timer if you have to. Just sit quietly and watch your breathing. That’s it.

Third, grab your scanning journal and jot down this bit of wisdom to repeat the next time (and there will be a next time) your brain tries to boss you around:

I’m okay. All is well. There’s nothing to fear. It’s safe for me to do something new. Thank you, Brain, for your cooperation. I love when we create together!
