You are never behind

Here is something I'd like you to understand: YOU ARE NEVER BEHIND. But you do have to get your behind into gear. Allow me to explain...

Have you ever done laundry in the nude? No? Good. Now you understand the concept that you’ll NEVER be done.

So stop trying to catch up!

Not being done is a good thing. It means you’re still alive and there are still opportunities waiting to be had. It means there’s more to learn and more to experience. It means there are more memories to be made. So isn’t that great news?

You know what's even greater news? Today's teeny, tiny Baby Step...

Instead, of feeling like you're on the perpetual treadmill known as Life, lighten up and have a little more fun. Do the things you enjoy doing. Pursue what's most important to you (#priorities). And, remember...

Things are the way they are right now, but that doesn't mean they’ll be like that forever. You’ll be okay.

It’s true you may have missed a deadline or two. It’s true you may have missed out on opportunities when they knocked on your door.

AND YET…

You are still here. You are entitled to have some fun. You can do this.

Because you are more than capable of…

• changing your mindset

• seeing things in a new light

• seizing the day

• becoming a better version of yourself

Because there’s only one person who can save you. Guess who that is? Yup, it’s Y-O-U. Sure, you can get a little help, a little guidance and a little Divine intervention once in a while. But, at the end of the day, you need to be your own hero. It doesn’t matter if you have to drag yourself kicking and screaming and whining and complaining all the way. Which brings me to this week's super simple Baby Step:

Just keep showing up, and get your behind in gear because you never know what’s in store.

And, when you truly believe that, then even more opportunities will show up that were never there before. So, remember…don’t ever feel left out or like you’re behind in life because the next best thing is yet to come.
