The real reason why leap year occurs is not what you think. What is it then? Here’s your chance to find out.

Ask yourself…

What would you do with an extra day? If the cosmos granted you an additional 24 hours, how would you spend them?

Every day is a gift, but Leap Day is a bonus.

What amazing, awesome, spectacular, mind-blowing experience will you make this day out to be?

BABY STEP

On February 29, 2024 the calendar will take a leap.

Will we decide to leap with it?

Let’s face it. We have the opportunity to leap every single day. But do we take that chance? Do we take that risk? Do we take that experience and run with it?

Do we leap?

Sometimes when we need to move on, there is no bridge to get across the huge gap between where we were and where we’re headed. What to do? We have a few options:

• We can sit down and stay put while we wait to be rescued.

• We can turn around and drag our defeated butts back to where we were.

• We can whine and complain about how nothing ever works out for us as we watch everybody else make the jump.

• Or, we can LEAP.

Scary? Yes. Unpredictable? Yes. Unfamiliar? Yes. Guaranteed? Nope.

But really, the only question we should be asking on the edge of possibility is this…

How amazing will I feel when I reach the other side?

Today’s Baby Step is this:

Take a leap. Do something out of the ordinary then keep showing up as the extraordinary begins to happen.
