Day 101 to Fall into Better Habits

Respect yourself like Aretha tells you to. She knew what she was talking about. She knew she deserved respect, and she claimed it.

How, then, do we get other people to respect us as the Queen of Soul implores us to do?

First and foremost, we must respect ourselves.

Because if we don’t lay that layer of protection around ourselves, then anyone can bring any old behavior/energy and dump it on us.

We must BE the vibe we wish to attract.

Find out what it means to you. Today’s Baby Step – and Aretha – will show us how.

BABY STEP

So, if we want respect, then we must respect ourselves AND show respect to others.

If we want love, peace, prosperity, harmony, happiness or whatever else we desire, WE must first embody it and embrace it and empower ourselves with it. Not in a greedy, selfish, self-centered way, but rather, in an expansive, open, abundant fashion.

And the best way to do that is to sock it to ya with today’s Baby Step:

R-E-S-P-E-C-T comes from C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-C-E

When we feel, we know and we truly believe we are WORTHY then we become unstoppable. We surround ourselves with a beautiful, powerful, bad-ass aura. And the signal we give off is this…

I AM worthy and I will be treated as such.

And there ain’t no arguing with that kind of presence.

So, get up today, embrace your inner Aretha and Baby Step your way to the natural woman (uh, person) you were born to be.
