How do you start a conversation with your heart? What’s it trying to tell you?

The heart is so much more than a blood pump that keeps the body alive. If we go beyond merely the physical realm, we can see that its function is so much more.

What if, just for today, you decide to see the heart as the gateway to the Divine Source within you? How about you wrap your head around this…

Your heart is a translator for the messages from your Soul.

Think about it. Your heart lies smack dab in the middle of your Soul and your Brain. Here’s how I see the chain of command…

  • Your Soul relays a Divine message to your heart.

  • Your heart then sends a signal to your brain.

  • Your brain then takes Divinely inspired action.

As long as we don’t interfere with the process, things go pretty smoothly. It’s only when we decide to mess with the system that things go sideways – either we overthink a situation or we allow our emotions to run wild or we start comparing our current circumstances to the past.

How about we try something else instead? So, in this season of love (#Valentine’s Day), let’s get to know this beautiful, beating, life-giving organ a little better.

What’s your heart telling you? What conversations are you having with it?

Take this Baby Step to get started today:

Carve out the time every day to chat with your heart. Let go of judgments (and stop feeling silly about this exercise). Get quiet. Listen. Write down the wisdom you receive.

It may be a bit challenging to get going with this practice, so I’ve got a few messages to translate for you to get you started.

Here’s what your heart wants you to know:

  • “You’re beautiful.”

  • “Your worth is beyond measure.”

  • “You can accomplish anything.”

  • “You are Divine – tune in to that guidance.”

  • “You can begin again in any moment.”

  • “You are infinite.”

  • “You are well loved.”

Now, practice writing (and reciting) your own conversation hearts. Start with your greatest quality and add to it the dialogue often.
