How to heal every relationship you have? It’s really quite simple, yet not always so easy to do. It all begins with these two words…

ACCEPT YOURSELF

If you saw my DDD (click HERE if you’re not receiving them yet) yesterday, then you noticed we’ll be practicing self-acceptance this week.

To me, acceptance means we are embracing every little thing about the now – the good, the bad and the downright ugly – and we’re deciding to enjoy the moment anyway. So, I have decided this…

  • I will no longer be dictated by thoughts about what’s not going “according to plan “

  • I will no longer be dictated by feelings about what’s less than desirable

  • I will no longer be dictated by vibes of the yucky variety from everyone else on God’s green Earth

Nope. I’m not falling into that trap anymore. I am choosing to accept what is. So, I’m gonna keep sipping my chai, taking in the beauty of Nature and believing everything is going to work out just fine - no matter how often things go sideways (#a lot).

And, I also wholeheartedly believe this:

Acceptance is the foundation of all our relationships.

Those relationships encompass a wide range. This includes relationships with our current circumstances, with the cycles of Nature, with our environment, with everybody else - and most importantly - with ourselves.

So, if you’d like to join me in testing out a new technique, then I believe we can address all those issues that keep popping up in our lives more often than annoying ads during a YT video. You with me? Then let's work it into our day as a Baby Step...

BABY STEP

You can heal every relationship you have. It’s true. Just don’t try to do it all at once. Instead, check out my simple technique to get you started on the road to peace, harmony, love and happiness.

I call it Relationship Rx.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose ONE of the areas listed below.

  2. Write down the affirmation associated with it so you can practice it daily (#index cards 4ever).

  3. Repeat the affirmation a minimum of every evening right before bed and every morning as soon as you wake up (leaving a copy near your bed will help you remember).

  4. Practice repeating it throughout the day so it becomes a habit, which will then help you respond to life - along with all the peeps living it with you - in a more loving, compassionate and accepting way.

  5. Keep it handy for those inevitable times of relationship conflict: Repeat the affirmation after the incident, along with deep breaths to calm your thoughts and emotions. This, too, will become a habit.

With enough practice (along with your sincere desire to repair your relationships), you will soon realize the little annoyances of everyday existence don’t bother you anymore. They’ll become trivial inconveniences instead of all-consuming drama that wrecks your day, your week, your life.

PLEASE remember:

This is a practice. It takes time. This is NOT the only area you’ll work on for the rest of your life. You can choose another area to focus upon once you feel more confident about this one. No stress. No putting it off because you can’t decide. Okay? So, let’s begin…

Pick ONE and go ALL IN.

Here are your choices:

  • Repair your relationship to Mother Nature:

  • I have decided to re-kindle my relationship with Mother Nature. I gracefully move with her cycles and I effortlessly absorb her pure, positive energy.

  • Repair your relationship to Others:

  • I am choosing to live in harmony with all others. I lovingly accept them as they are and where they are.

  • Repair your relationship to your Environment:

  • A beautiful environment creates a beautiful day. I surround myself with beauty and all the things that make my inner Light radiate joy.

  • Repair your relationship to your Current Circumstances:

  • I accept where I am because I know I’m being led to someplace even better. I remain patient, optimistic and open to delightful new opportunities.

  • Repair your relationship to Yourself:

  • I know who I am. I am love. I am Light. My Soul guides me every day, in every way. I am overflowing with gratitude, love and a tremendous sense of fulfillment.
