Enjoy your slice of life

another trip around the sun,

another season change

time passes too fast

and life continues to get more strange

you never fully grasp the shortness in the days

until your hair is filled with more and more grays

wisdom comes from the lessons learned

and our triumphs become trophies that we've earned

there's glory in aging, this I've come to know

but you never realize that until the end of the show

so here's to the 33rd episode of my life

I'm here to live it and not think twice
